MEDIA PRODUCTION COORDINATOR

Under the direction of the Director, Events, this position supports Multimedia Production for various client groups within the Los Angeles County Bar Association (“Association”)

This hybrid remote position has the following general areas of responsibility:

  1. At direction of Director, Events, Maintain (or, where opportunity exists, improve) media production values for the Association, with an emphasis on managing digital video content.
  2. Manage all aspects of video creation, editing, and fulfillment for Association’s On-Demand video menu, including compliance with State Bar of California rules for Continuing Legal Education content
  3. Assist with creation, fulfillment, and compliance of Association’s multimedia educational products, and partner with Marketing Dept. to design and implement marketing support for those products
  4. Fulfill orders for multimedia Continuing Legal Education (“CLE”) products

Principal Duties and Responsibilities: 

  • Assist with replay and remote-broadcast events.
  • Assist with preparation and delivery of new products for audio-streaming On Demand, including quality checking raw recordings, making digital video edits, and administration and compliance of release forms (from program participants) and program materials
  • Oversees construction of special video projects such as Minor’s Counsel and other long form programs offered exclusively On Demand,
  • Has primary responsibility for resolving customer service issues for On Demand customers
  • Maintain records relating to multimedia products as assigned
  • Manage delivery of materials for programs (both digital and physical delivery). 
  • Assist with asset management as assigned
  • Other duties as assigned by manager

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:  

  • BA or BS degree is preferred.  Equivalent experience directly related to job responsibilities may be considered.
  • Candidates should have a minimum of 2-5 years of relevant experience in Multimedia Production.
  • Strong computer skills, including working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word and Excel), Adobe Premiere, Quark, Internet Audio/Video Codecs, and Final Cut Pro.  Demonstrated ability to quickly learn new computer applications.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Must be able to work some weekends, evenings, and holidays
  • Strong customer service orientation
