LACBA Rates Judicial Candidates Seeking Election to the Bench
The Los Angeles County Bar Association ratings of judicial candidates seeking election to the Los Angeles Superior Court on June 5 are NOW AVAILABLE. Each of the candidates are rated on a number of factors, including character, experience, and knowledge of the law, to determine their qualifications to serve on the bench. Senior Lawyers Clothing Drive
LACBA's Senior Lawyers Section will be hosting a professional clothing drive on Saturday, June 9, 2018, to help those in our community who are in need of business clothing to enhance their chances to obtain the jobs they seek, and succeed in the new work place. Women’s clothing will be collected at Dress for Success Worldwide West located at 2100 S. Hill Street, Los Angeles, CA, 90007. Men’s clothing will be collected at Clothes The Deal's downtown drop off location at Your Cleaners Online, 800 West 1st Street, Suite 102, Los Angeles, CA 90012.
Volunteers are also needed to receive and sort through the clothing from 10:00 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. on Saturday, June 9. For more information, or to volunteer to help sort clothes, please email businessclothingdrive@gmail.com.

The Los Angeles Lawyers Philharmonic, Legal Voices and Gary Greene, Esq., and His Big Band of Barristers are looking for musicians and singers who are lawyers, judges, law students and legal staff. The orchestra and chorus will be gearing up for its 9th Annual Disney Hall Concert Extraordinaire. The mission of the organization, which is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, is to bring the legal community together and to raise funds for those who cannot afford legal services through LACBA's Counsel for Justice and other charitable causes.
