NEW DATE/LOCATION: Counsel for Justice Annual Golf Tournament and Networking Dinner
Counsel for Justice (CFJ) has announced a new date and venue for its annual Golf Tournament and Networking Dinner, which has been moved to Monday, May 13, 2019, at the prestigious Wilshire Country Club.
Founded by Harry Field in 2009 and celebrating its 10th anniversary, the golf tournament has become one of the most important fundraising events of the year.
Last year, following eight successful years, the tournament was relocated to MountainGate Country Club, which was a move very much enjoyed and appreciated by the participants. The event was a great success, netting over $66,000 to support the Los Angeles County Bar Association’s four legal services projects, which provide pro bono and low cost services to people throughout Los Angeles County.
David Kutzer, golf committee co-chair commented, “As funds for our projects become more and more critical, we continue to work to enhance our event, and grow our revenues. Wilshire is a prestigious country club with a fabulous golf course and beautiful facilities. We’ll be able to provide a first class experience for our golfers and non-golfers alike, with the goal of raising net proceeds for our projects to an all new high.”
Celebrating its Centennial anniversary, the Wilshire Country Club has been host to numerous PGA, Senior PGA and LPGA tour events. Founded in 1919 and recently restored to its natural beauty with unmistakable character and charm, Wilshire Country Club remains one of Southern California’s true golf gems.
The event will offer golfers valet parking, full locker room access and caddies for each group. A networking dinner, for which tickets can be purchased separately, immediately follows golf.
