LACBA Honors Volunteers at the Outstanding Volunteer Service Awards Reception

Newest 50-Year-Club members also recognized

Nearly 100 LACBA volunteers and supporters came together at the 2016 LACBA Outstanding Volunteer Service Awards Reception on May 12 to celebrate and honor volunteers who have donated their time and talents to LACBA and its legal services projects.  Without their service, the Projects – AIDS, Domestic Violence, Veterans, Immigration, and Civic Mediation - would not have been able to help more than 18,000 people and provide over $3.7 million in pro bono services last year.

Volunteers were recognized and congratulated for their contributions to LACBA, the legal profession, and the Los Angeles community through their work on the board of trustees, sections, committees, Counsel for Justice, and LACBA’s projects.

Court of Appeal Presiding Justice Lee Smalley Edmon, a past LACBA president who served as the Emcee of the event, presented the following awards:
