LACBA Installs Michael E. Meyer as its 2017-2018 President
Installation Reception Raises Over $75,000 for LACBA’s Domestic Violence Legal Services Project
The Los Angeles County Bar Association (LACBA) installed Michael E. Meyer as its 2017-2018 president on Monday, December 18, 2017 at an elegant reception held at the beautiful Millennium Biltmore Hotel in downtown Los Angeles, with proceeds supporting LACBA’s Domestic Violence Legal Services Project.
Thanks in large part to the Installation Reception sponsors—DLA Piper LLP, Clune Construction, Ahern Insurance Brokerage, CBRE Group, Inc., Girardi & Keese, Indivest, Marlin & Saltzman, Morgan Lewis, Sidley Austin LLP, and Winston & Strawn LLP—the event raised more than $75,000 to support the Project.
Since its founding more than 35 years ago, the Project has helped more than 100,000 men, women and children seeking legal protection from their abusers by assisting them in completing complex Temporary Restraining Orders forms.
