LACBA Veterans Legal Services Project thanks the legal team from Herbalife for their generous assistance at the project's December 16 legal clinic at Patriotic Hall. Since the beginning of 2015, more than 200 attorneys from firms and legal departments have volunteered more than 1,000 hours to help veterans work through legal barriers to their employment, such as clearing outstanding tickets and warrants, and expunging criminal convictions—making a tremendous difference to Los Angeles County's veterans.
DVP-logo-new1215 Domestic Violence Legal Services Project Thanks
LACBA Domestic Violence Legal Services Project thanks Ron Yorizane, former Bureau Chief of Central Courts for the Public Defender’s Office. Ron retired in 2006 and has been assisting victims at the clinic two times per month for nine years. Ron’s criminal law expertise helps victims who have overlap matters in family court and criminal court. Our thanks go to Ron for the hundreds of victims for whom he has personally provided legal services.

It’s time for a roadmap.
