JCC Seal-Thumb Judicial Council of California Technology Survey

The Judicial Council Information Technology Advisory Committee (ITAC) has formed the Digital Evidence Workstream. It is focused on the rapidly growing and evolving area of digital evidence: investigating, assessing, and reporting on business practice, technical standards, statutes, and rules related to digital evidence. With respect to our justice partners, the workstream is charged with and very interested in gathering information on any standards, best practices, and challenges related to submitting digital evidence to the courts. The purpose of the survey is to inform the workstream in their development of rules, policies, and guidance in this growing area of court business.

GOLF-Tournament-Thumb The Smashing Success of the 9th Annual LACBA CFJ Charity Golf Tournament and Networking Dinner
Even though May 21 started out dreary and drizzly, the energy of our supporters, sponsors, lawyers, vendors, and friends and nearly 120 golfers helped to dry the weather. Even though we couldn’t bring out the sun, we collaboratively brought more excitement to this day than we had ever seen before. In building on our past successes we recognized that our energetic golfers were just a small part of our legal community so we expanded the reach of the golf tournament to include a special networking dinner for an additional 100 non-golfers. All enjoyed a great MoutainGate Country Club Dinner while participating in the raffle prizes, awards, and silent auction.
