    51st Annual Securities Regulation Seminar

    The 51st Annual Securities Regulation Seminar which is sponsored by LACBA’s Business & Corporations Law Section and the Securities and Exchange Commission, and co-sponsored by the California Department of Business Oversight and FINRA, will be held at the Millennium Biltmore Hotel in Los Angeles on Friday, October 19, 2018. Please join us to meet the new leadership of the SEC and hear about their priorities and recent developments in securities and corporate law. Panelists will include Stephanie Avakian and Steve Peikin, Co-Directors of the Division of Enforcement.

    2018 Installation & Awards Reception

    LACBA is holding its 2018 Installation & Awards Reception on Wednesday, June 27, at the InterContinental Hotel in Downtown Los Angeles at 6:30 p.m.  Join members for the 2018-2019 installation of LACBA Officers and Board of Trustees, including Brian S. Kabateck as President, as well as other offices, and awards for outstanding service in LACBA leadership, including John Hartigan, a current member and former Chair of the Business & Corporations Law Section, who will receive the Outstanding Trustee Award.  Net proceeds from this event will go to support LACBA’s Legal Service Projects, Domestic Violence, Veterans, Immigration and AIDS.
