Mentoring Program

Now in Our 11th Year!

LACBA's Diversity in the Profession Committee is excited to embark on another exciting year of our High School Mentoring Program.
Our meetings will take place at Wilson High School, 4500 Multnomah Street, Los Angeles, CA, 90032.

Mentoring LACBA Diversity Program

We will have speakers address the students in the Moot Courtroom at Wilson, with group mentoring sessions in the courtyard outside.   In addition, we will be sponsoring a field trip to the Los Angeles Superior Court.  Details to follow, and mentors are encouraged to attend. 

So far, our speakers are:

Craig Barnes, Mentoring Committee Co-Chair
Carlos Moreno, former California Supreme Court Justice and U.S. Ambassador to Belize

Richard Rico (Wilson HS grad), Los Angeles Superior Court Judge 
Elizabeth Uribe (Wilson HS grad), Former MABA President
