From Executive Director Stan Bissey:
Dear LACBA Travel Members:
I am sending advance notice to everyone that expressed an interest and/or registered for the LACBA 2020 trip to Nuremberg, Germany, and Krakow, Poland, for the 75th Commemoration of the Nuremberg Trials. The trip has been re-scheduled for next summer, July 8-17, 2022! Additionally, members of the California Judges Association (CJA) will also be in Nuremberg during this time, so we will have the opportunity to enjoy several shared events together.
Below is the DRAFT itinerary for your perusal – please be aware that the actual schedule will likely change as we get closer. Nevertheless, this will give you an idea of our time in Germany and Poland. Pricing has not been finalized but I have urged and expect that the cost will remain close to our original 2020 pricing. Just confirmed, our hotel in Nuremberg will be the beautiful and historic Le Meridien Grand (https://www.marriott.com/hotels/hotel-information/nuemd-le-meridien-grand-hotel-nuremberg) centrally located and right across from the entrance to the old city. The hotel also served as the home-base for attorneys, judges, and staff during the trials!
We will officially announce the trip sometime in September, after Labor Day, and will then begin accepting reservations. In the interim, if you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to reach out!
With every best wish,
