Los Angeles County Bar Association Joins forces with
American Lawyer Media's LegalTech
to Promote LegalTech Los Angeles

LOS ANGELES - April 7, 2000 -- The Los Angeles County Bar Association (LACBA) and American Lawyer Media, Inc. (ALM) have joined forces to launch a targeted promotional campaign for LegalTech Los Angeles, the organizations announced today. LegalTech, a division of ALM, produces the legal industry's largest exhibitions and conferences on law practice technology. LegalTech Los Angeles, which is in its 19th year, will be held June 20th through June 22nd at the Westin Bonaventure Hotel.

The promotional agreement includes exhibition and marketing initiatives that will build on LegalTech's existing strengths as a leading tradeshow producer and will create added benefits for LACBA members. LegalTech exhibitions and conferences are designed to inform legal professionals involved in technology investment, planning and implementation at law firms and departments of all sizes. Under the agreement:

  • LACBA, the nation's largest local voluntary bar association, will promote LegalTech Los Angeles to its 23,000 member attorneys through its periodicals, newsletters and events.
  • LegalTech will extend professional discounts on admission to educational programs to LACBA members.
"Our partnership with the Los Angeles County Bar Association, which serves one of the largest and most vital legal communities in the U.S., is a great opportunity to extend LegalTech's successful brand of technology tradeshows to a broader audience of legal professionals."
