Notice From Superior Court

Because of a budget shortfall, the court will be withdrawing one bailiff from the three probate courts effective JANUARY 1, 2008.  As a consequence, the court must change the days on which it calls calendars so that no more than two courts are hearing a calendar at any time. 

Therefore, effective January 1, 2008:

  • Dept 5 will hear calendars on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday. 
  • Dept 9 will hear calendars on Monday, Wednesday and Friday.  
  • Dept 11 will hear calendars on Monday, Tuesday and Thursday. 
  • Public Guardian calendar remains on Friday.

The courts will continue to hear trials on days and times they are not hearing calendars.  I know that this will create inconvenience for attorneys because of conflicts with dates that the district courts hear calendars, and I apologize for this inconvenience.Please feel free to contact me if you have any concerns about this new schedule.
