A listserve is an electronic mailing list among online interest groups to facilitate group discussions, to promote two–way communication and discussion on an ongoing basis for the timely exchange of information, tips, and advice among attorneys in your particular area of practice. You must be a LACBA Law Student member, to take advantage of this valuable networking resource.
Using The Listserve
Sending messages through the listserve is easy. Simply send a message to the following listserve email address:
firstname.lastname@example.org. You can start a conversation on the listserve by posting a new message with a descriptive subject line, or you can reply to messages that have already been posted. Just make sure that whenever using the listserve, you use the correct email address (email@example.com). You must include your full name with each listserve message. It is suggested, but not necessary, to also include the name of your law school or year (i.e. 2L) and any other contact information you would like to provide.
