Criminal Justice Section Criminal Bench and Bar Reception.
On December 1st the Criminal Justice Section held a reception for the criminal bench and bar at the City Club located on the 54th floor of the Wells Fargo building on Bunker Hill. In attendance were District Attorney Steve Cooley, many members of his senior staff, and numerous judges and practitioners from the criminal courts. For those of you who made it, thank you for making it a successful event. For those of you who were unable to attend, hopefully we will see you at next year’s reception. Nomination forms for Career Achievement, Judge of the Year, Prosecutor of the Year and Defense Attorney of the Year are due by January 5, 2006.
Also, there will be an evening program focusing on forensic evidence in April. Date and location to be announced soon.
