Throughout our history, the Los Angeles County Bar Association has effectively represented our profession and been a voice for lawyers. Among many things, we have supported legislation, helped frame regulations, worked closely with the courts, provided countless volunteer hours, and filed amicus briefs that have increased funding for legal services for the poor, increased judicial resources, and promoted the highest standards of professional conduct. We have made our views known on countless critical and ever-changing issues during our history.
