MESSAGE FROM THE CHAIR
Welcome to the Los Angeles County Bar Association Environmental Law Section. As our section approaches its 25th Anniversary, environmental law is as relevant as it has ever been with issues such as climate change, environmental justice and green chemistry in the forefront. Yet, much has changed. This year, the Environmental Law Section is initiating steps to take advantage of technology that will not only make many of our programs more convenient and accessible, but will provide you with opportunities to reduce your impact on the environment. Starting later this fall, please look for our webcast and webinar programs. We have an exciting year planned and I look forward to your participation.

Because of the overwhelming success of our programs, in recent years the Environmental Law Section has donated to a variety of worthwhile nonprofit organizations, including the Constitutional Rights Foundation, UCLA School of Law's Emmett Center on Climate Change and the Environment, and TreePeople, a Los Angeles-based organization with a long and respected history of environmental stewardship.

All Section members should take pride in these donations, and in the role environmental attorneys play in protecting the environment.

We welcome your comments on the website and what we are doing right—and wrong. Most importantly, we invite you to become actively involved in the Section and its many programs and activities.

Information about Officers and Directors of the Section.

Information on upcoming events is available, click here.  Archived materials from past programs and events is available, click here.

We have created a list of commonly used websites and websites of interest to environmental attorneys. Please provide us with your suggestions and comments on this list.

We have links to career opportunities in environmental law and related areas.
