The national DONATE A PHONE® CALL TO PROTECT® campaign collects wireless phones to benefit victims of domestic violence. In the hands of a victims, these phones are a lifeline enabling them to call for assistance when faced with an emergency situation.

How to erase all your data from your old cell phone.
Drop off your old phone at the LACBA offices. We have a collection box in our lobby at 261 South Figueroa Street, Suite 300. You can drop it off any time you are in the area. Our parking lot has a 15-minute grace period for deliveries. Can you think of an easier way to help a victim of domestic violence?

Tax receipts
Approximately 37,000 phones have been donated through the Wireless Foundation's CALL TO PROTECT program. Thanks to the support of Motorola and in coordination with the National Coalition Against Domestic Violence, over 1000 shelters, advocacy organizations, police departments, district attorney’s offices and other organizations have distributed CALL TO PROTECT phones to victims in need. Wireless carriers who are members of the Cellular Telecommunications & Internet Association donate free emergency airtime to victims.
