About PDF and HTML
Areas of the Los Angeles Lawyer Web site are in PDF (portable document format). These areas require Adobe's free Acrobat Reader plug-in, which you may already have installed on your computer. If you are able to open and read PDF documents, you have the necessary software. When you are using Adobe, an additional navigation bar will appear in your browser window. If you are unable to open or read PDF documents, you may download Adobe's PDF reader for free from the Adobe Web site.

All other areas of the Los Angeles Lawyer Web site use HTML (hypertext markup language), the standard language of the Internet, which is viewable in any browser.

This site is best viewed, however, with Mozilla Firefox or
Internet Explorer version 4.0 or higher.
