|The Real Property Section focuses on all aspects of real property law, both transactions and litigation. There are six subsections, listed on the right.
The Section presents more than 30 continuing legal education programs each year, including the Benjamin S. Crocker Symposium on Real Estate Law and Business.
The Section also publishes a monthly Newsletter highlighting recent developments in real estate law, and a quarterly Review, with substantive articles of interest to real estate practitioners.
As of January 1, 2008, the form of notarial acknowledgements in California will be changed and recorded documents made available to the public may no longer contain full social security numbers.
See AB 886 and AB 1168 for the text of these new laws passed by the California Legislature and signed by the Governor.
