The Los Angeles County Bar Association is an organization that has, among its purposes, to promote the administration of justice and to apply the knowledge and experience of its members in the field of law to the promotion of the public good. In furtherance of these purposes, the Association traditionally has been actively involved in supporting a qualified and competent judiciary, and free and fair judicial elections. That is why it established the Judicial Election Evaluations Committee, the Appellate Election Evaluations Committee, and the Fair Judicial Election Practices Committee, among others.
The report of the Judicial Election Evaluations Committee evaluating candidates running for the contested judicial elections in Los Angeles County, as well as other resources, information and activities concerning both the March and November judicial elections, and links to related sites of interest, will be made available here as a service to our members and the public.
