The Los Angeles County Bar Association's Acclaimed
Trial Advocacy Project (TAP) Certificate Courses
Created in 1978, Traditional TAP is a unique, two-part course where attorneys receive comprehensive, in-depth trial advocacy training and actual trial experience. More than 1500 attorneys have participated in Traditional TAP, providing more than 250,000 hours of pro bono service.

In light of the overwhelming success and popularity of Traditional TAP, LACBA has expanded TAP to create several additional TAP courses - Introductory TAP, TAP: The Seminar Series, and TAP: The Workshop Series, providing different TAP courses for different skill levels:
