Casino Night: An Elegant Evening of Gaming, Cocktails, and Sumptuous Gourmet Offerings The Athletic Club was transformed into a Monte Carlo-style casino featuring a VIP Area, separate poker room, and blackjack, roulette, and craps tables. Throughout the night, cheers could be heard from every corner of the “casino” as players made their winning hands or hit their points with the roll of the dice. This year’s event featured exciting new twists such as a silent auction of 16 items—including a four-night stay at a deluxe flat in the Montmartre district in the north of Paris near the Basilica Sacré-Cœur—and two wine basket collections from the wine cellars of Noah Graff, Los Angeles County Bar Foundation President, and Richard J. Burdge Jr., Los Angeles County Bar Association President. Everyone received a Casino Night gift bag, and several attendees won great raffle prizes, including a $250 certificate to the Miracle Springs Resort & Spa in Desert Hot Springs, lunch for two at Café Pinot, lunch for two at Kendall’s Brasserie, and more. It’s still not too late to support Casino Night. We have partnered with Charitybuzz.com to auction off one-of-a-kind items or experiences to raise funds to support the AIDS Legal Services, Domestic Violence, and Immigration Legal Assistance Projects. To view a complete list of items still available at the auction, please visit www.charitybuzz.com/support/lacba. Our event was made fabulous by our generous sponsors: A special thanks to John C. Reilly. Our most sincere gratitude to the following companies for donating raffle prizes, silent auction and swag items for the LACBA Foundation Casino night:
