Barristers Select New Leadership for 2012-13

In an uncontested election, the Barristers have finalized the selection of their incoming representatives for the next bar year. 

Elected Barristers officers for 2012-13 are Andrew Dhadwal, president; Mark Kressel, president-elect; and Elizabeth Hanks, vice president. Ori Blumenfeld, Barristers trustee, was elected for a two-year term.

Appointed officers are Devon Myers, assistant vice president; Robert Glassman, secretary; and Mark Kachner, historian/treasurer.

Barristers Executive Committee members are Emily Aldrich, Precilio Duran, John Fowler, John Ly, Philip Monahan, Erin Pfaff, Laura Riley, Christiane Roussel, Damon Thayer, and Andrew Yen.

Under the Barristers bylaws, candidates recently nominated for Barristers officer and Executive Committee positions have been deemed unanimously elected and will automatically assume their positions on July 1, 2012, as no additional candidates filed petitions to run for office against those nominated.
