3rd Annual Foundation Golf Outing at TPC-Valencia to Benefit LACBA Law-Related Projects

Come enjoy a day of golf with friends or clients and colleagues while contributing to the noble work of the Los Angeles County Bar Foundation at its Third Annual Golf Outing on Monday, June 11, 2012.

A fun-filled day of golf, food, camaraderie, and much more will be available at Tournament Players Club (TPC) at Valencia—the only TPC course in Southern California and one of only 26 TPC courses in the United States. This beautiful course is located in Valencia, about 38 miles north of downtown Los Angeles just off of I-5 in the shadows of Six Flags Magic Mountain.

Registration begins at 9:30 a.m., but players may arrive at the course earlier to practice putting, use the driving range, browse the pro shop, and finalize registration.

The shotgun start prompts the Best Ball Scramble at high noon. The tournament committee will also host a putting contest; the winning 50’ Hole-in-One putt yields a $2,500 cash prize. 

During play, the traditional four par 3s will have special hole-in-one opportunities. And at the end of the day after play has been concluded, the first three raffle tickets drawn will get the opportunity to take a 165-yard fairway shot on the 18th hole (with everyone watching from the patio) for BIG dollars. How BIG? The first number drawn shoots for $1,000,000, and the next two tickets drawn each shoot for $100,000. A true SHOT-of-a-LIFETIME!

Everyone will be eligible for other door and raffle prizes including two three-hour Formula Car Program classes donated by Allen Berg Racing Schools, which are redeemable at the Auto Club Speedway during the 2012 season (valued at $599). Allen Berg Racing Schools specialize in cost-effective individual and corporate entertainment packages that offer an exclusive introduction into the realm of professional motor-sport at the Auto Club Speedway in Fontana.
