• On January 18, LACBA President Eric A. Webber delivered a speech at the "Stand Up For Justice" rally in downtown Los Angeles. • LACBA board member Ruth D. Kahn was named by California Lawyer one of its Pro Bono California Lawyer Attorneys of the Year for 2012. Last year, working as part of the Holocaust Survivors' Project initiated by Bet Tzedek Legal Services, Ms. Kahn helped over 30 Holocaust survivors win reparations from the German government.
• The Honorable Audrey B. Collins, Chief Judge of the United States District Court for the Central District of California, will receive the 2012 Outstanding Jurist Award
• The Los Angeles Superior Court announced plans for the most significant reduction of services in its history. Click here to read more.
