"Monty Python’s SPAMALOT" at the Pantages Will Highlight the Foundation’s 5th Annual Theatre Fundraiser on March 1

The Los Angeles County Bar Foundation has acquired 100 Orchestra Center and Orchestra Right Side tickets (Rows R through Y) for its 5th Annual Theatre Fundraiser at the Pantages Theatre in Hollywood on Thursday, March 1, 2012. The event features the funniest show on earth, back to taunt Los Angeles for a second time. The winner of the 2005 Tony Award for Best Musical, "Monty Python’s SPAMALOT," the musical comedy sensation lovingly ripped off from the film classic “Monty Python and The Holy Grail,” tells the tale of King Arthur and his Knights of the Round Table as they embark on their quest for the Holy Grail. But before they can find the grail, they take a little side-trip to the fair city of Los Angeles.

The ticket price for the show, sponsored by Scherzer International, includes admission to a pre-performance reception sponsored by Susman Godfrey L.L.P. from 6:00 to 7:30 p.m. at the bodega wine bar, located at 6290 Sunset Boulevard (Sunset and Vine). Within close walking distance to the Pantages, the reception at the bodega wine bar will include house wines, soju cocktails, beer, nonalcoholic beverages, and a wonderful array of delicious hors d’oeuvres. The performance at the Pantages begins at 8:00 p.m. To view the SPAMALOT invitation, click here.

Tickets are available on a first-come, first-served basis at $175 per person. Bulk tickets offer a discount as follows: 4 to 7 tickets are $165 each; 8 to 11 tickets are $155 each; and 12 or more are $145 each. (The fair market value of the ticket and reception is $100. The balance of the ticket price is deductible for income tax purposes.)
