Paving the Path to American Citizenship: Law Day Naturalization Clinic Training

On May 5, LACBA's Barristers Section will partner with the National Association of Latino Elected and Appointed Officials (NALEO) to train volunteer attorneys on the procedures to apply for American citizenship. 

During the training, attorneys will learn how to fill out Form N-400, the standard naturalization application, and will become qualified to volunteer at the NALEO Citizen Workshop on Saturday, July 9, to help eligible permanent residents complete their Form N-400. No prior experience in immigration or naturalization law is required to volunteer at the July workshop—Volunteers need only complete the May 5 training.
