Volunteer a Few Hours of Time at May 6 Immigration Information Fair

LACBA’s Immigration Legal Assistance Project and Immigration Law Section will host their annual Immigration Information Fair in conjunction with Law Week on Friday, May 6, 2011. Attorney volunteers are still needed to assist at the fair, which will take place from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at La Placita Church, 535 N. Main Street, Los Angeles, at Olvera Street.

Attorneys are needed for a minimum of two hours to provide legal advice, discuss human rights, and promote a better understanding of the legal system to the immigrant community in Los Angeles. For more information about the event or to volunteer, please contact Mary Mucha, directing attorney, LACBA Immigration Legal Assistance Project, at (213) 485-0143 or marymucha@aol.com.
