LACBA Welcomes New Director of Events & CLE

Tom Walsh joins the Los Angeles County Bar Association as its new Director of Events & CLE. Walsh brings with him a strong background in event production, marketing, and corporate communications.

As director, Walsh will oversee LACBA’s events team, supervising both CLE and non-CLE program planning and marketing. He will also manage the Association’s multimedia team, which produces Web casts, video-on-demand, and LACBA’s popular CLE in a Box.

“I’m delighted to be part of LACBA in general and the CLE team in particular," Walsh said. "The Association is an extraordinary organization, and my goal is to help continue its long tradition of service to the Los Angeles legal community and to fully support its commitment to continuous improvement."

Before coming to LACBA, Walsh served as Director, Events for Disney-ABC Networks Group, where he strategically managed event/experiential marketing and creative services for brands such as Disney Channel, Disney and ESPN Media Networks, and ABC Family. Prior to that, Walsh was the Vice President of Marketing for Countrywide Financial, overseeing all marketing, executive communications, public relations, and event marketing for Countrywide's Wholesale Lending Division.
