"Beauty and the Beast" at the Pantages Will Highlight the Foundation’s 4th Annual Theatre Fundraiser on March 13

The Los Angeles County Bar Foundation has acquired 95 Left Center and Left Side Orchestra tickets (Rows M through Y) for its 4th Annual Theatre Fundraiser at the Pantages Theatre in Hollywood on Sunday, March 13, 2011, featuring Disney’s "Beauty and the Beast." The musical tells the classic story of Belle, a young woman in a provincial town, and the Beast, who is really a young prince trapped in a spell placed by an enchantress. If the Beast can learn to love and be loved, the curse will end, and he will be transformed into his former self. But time is running out. If the Beast does not learn his lesson soon, he and his household will be doomed for all of eternity.

The ticket price for the show, sponsored by Reed Smith, includes admission to a pre-performance reception sponsored by Holland & Knight LLP from 4:30 to 6:00 p.m. at Dillon’s Irish Pub & Grill. Close walking distance to the Pantages, the reception at Dillon's will include well drinks, house wine, beer, soft drinks, bottled water, and an array of hors d’oeuvres. Dillon’s is located at the corner of Hollywood and Vine. The performance at the Pantages begins at 6:30 p.m.

Tickets are available on a first-come, first-served basis at $175 per person. Bulk tickets offer a discount as follows: 4 to 7 tickets are $165 each; 8 to 11 tickets are $155 each; and 12 or more are $145 each. (The fair market value of the ticket and reception is $100. The balance of the ticket price will be deductible for income tax purposes.)
