FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE:
www.lacba.org Wins Pioneer Award
Los Angeles - June 30, 1997 - The Los Angeles County Bar Association’s website, http://www.lacba.org, earned a bronze award at the 14th annual Pioneer Awards program. Nearly 200 people from Washington, Oregon, and California attended.
The Pioneer Awards, which are touted as the most prestigious West Coast direct marketing awards, are sponsored by the Direct Marketing Creative Guild and are given to the most creative and effective direct marketing solutions. Awards are presented based on a comprehensive review of applicants by a panel of West Coast marketing and advertising professionals who may award gold, silver, bronze, certificate of merit, or no award. Points determine placement, so there may be ties and not all placements have to be awarded in each category. Categories included direct mail, television, radio, and interactive/WWW (World Wide Web).
The County Bar’s website was the only association website to be honored at the event. Other companies recognized with awards in the interactive/WWW category, include Honda Motors, Intellipost Corporation, Cathay Pacific Airlines, Web TV and Hertz Rent-A-Car.
The County Bar’s website, which underwent a major enhancement earlier this year, offers information on membership, CLE registration, online self study CLE tests, links to a variety of legal research, and more to attorneys. It also offers information about the lawyer referral service, Dispute Resolution Services, and other legal help programs to the community.
