New Director of Web Services Joins LACBA Staff

LACBA welcomes David Dain as its new director of Web services, whose primary responsibilities will be the development and management of online and electronic practice-related content for lawyers at LACBA’s Web site, www.lacba.org.

In addition to maintaining and expanding the delivery of content that is current, well designed, organized, and user friendly, Dain will work with LACBA sections to increase the availability of electronic services to their members.

“My immediate and future goals are intertwined,” says Dain. “I want to increase the visibility of LACBA and its sections so that membership increases and so that those members are constantly aware of what is going on in the legal community.”

Dain’s professional background includes extensive experience in online media. Most recently, he served as an editor and assistant producer at KCBS/KCAL TV. Before that, he was the Web content manager at Los Angeles Times Media Group, a senior producer and editorial manager at Fox Sports, and a Web producer at KTTV. He graduated from Boston University College of Communication majoring in broadcast journalism.
