5th Annual Dispute Resolution Services Awards Dinner 

DRS honored pioneers and supporters of alternative dispute resolution at this year's DRS Awards Dinner, which raised thousands of dollars for DRS programs.

Los Angeles, December 4, 1997 -Dispute Resolution Services (DRS) is a nonprofit corporation of the Los Angeles County Bar Association committed to promoting and providing accessible and effective conflict resolution services. Over 200 people attended the fifth DRS Awards Dinner held on Wednesday, December 3rd at the Biltmore Hotel. In this day of county and city budget cutbacks, this event was an opportunity to raise critically needed funds to provide ADR services to the legal community and the general public.

Edward Sanders receives the ADR Associates' Louis M. Brown Conflict Prevention Award from Hon. Helen Bendix and Mrs. Louis Brown.

One of DRS's youth services programs is its student mediator program in the Santa Monica-Malibu Unified School District.
