‘Dreamgirls’ at Ahmanson Will Highlight Foundation’s Theatre Fundraiser on March 25

The Los Angeles County Bar Foundation has acquired 80 Rear Orchestra tickets (Rows R through W) for its 3rd Annual Theatre Fundraiser at the Music Center’s Ahmanson Theatre on Thursday, March 25, 2010, featuring "Dreamgirls," the rags-to-riches story of an up-and-coming, 1960s girl group from Chicago, and the onstage joy and backstage drama that come with fame and fortune. The national tour of "Dreamgirls" stars Moya Angela as Effie White, and as The Dreams, Syesha Mercado as Deena Jones, Adrienne Warren as Lorrell Robinson, and Margaret Hoffman as Michelle Morris. The musical features the unforgettable hits "And I Am Telling You I'm Not Going," "One Night Only," and "Listen."

The ticket price includes admission to a reception prior to the performance from 6:15 to 7:30 p.m. in Salon C at the Music Center catered by the Patina Group Catering (includes wine, beer, soft drinks, bottled water, cheeses/crackers/breads, assorted fruit, and assorted mini-desserts). 

Tickets are available on a first-come, first-served basis at $175 per person. (The fair market value of the ticket and reception is $100; therefore, $75 of the ticket price will be deductible for income tax purposes.) Your participation supports the Foundation’s mission of providing grants to law-related nonprofits serving underprivileged children and families throughout Los Angeles County.
