DRS in Local Emmy-Winning Production

Los Angeles, May 30, 1998 - The County Bar's Dispute Resolution Services, Inc.is among a number of community organizations featured in the Emmy Award-winning "A Community of Caring," a production of CityTV and the Directors Guild of America Women's Steering Committee.

The joint production allowed the Directors Guild to provide volunteer women directors who were then paired with the community organizations to produce a series of short videos. CityTV, Santa Monica's local government access channel, provided the facilities, production crew and video equipment for the project.

"A Community of Caring" was honored in the Public, Municipal and Operator Produced Cable Programming Category and received its Los Angeles Emmy Award on May 30 from the Academy of Television Arts and Sciences. CityTV can be seen on cable channel 16 in Santa Monica.
