Barristers Leadership 2009-10

In an uncontested election, the Barristers finalized the selection of their incoming representatives for the next bar year. Barristers officers for 2009-10 include David Swift, president; David Reinert, president-elect; Sarah Luppen, vice president; Laura Shin, Barristers trustee; and Alexander Gareeb, immediate past president.

Elected Barristers joining the Barristers Executive Committee are Andrew Dhadwal, Jen Flory, Cameron Fox, William Karns, Erin Pfaff, Wesley Shih, and Andrew Yen.

Elected positions continuing in the second year of a two-year term are held by Edward Lew and Mhare Mouradian.

Appointed positions for a one-year term will be held by Salar Astrizadeh, Miguel Espinoza, Mark Kachner, and Mark Kressel.

Under the Barristers bylaws, recently nominated Executive Committee and officer candidates have been deemed unanimously elected and will automatically join the Barristers Executive Committee on July 1, 2009 as no additional candidates filed petitions to run for office against those nominated.
