The Immigration Legal Assistance Project provides advice and consultation on immigration law and can help you prepare various immigration forms, including, but not limited to:

  • Translations of Spanish language documents

Where is the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) Los Angeles District Office located?
The USCIS is located at 300 North Los Angeles Street, Los Angeles, CA 90012. The main information room is 1001. This is the same building that "houses" the Immigration Legal Assistance Project. You may obtain all USCIS immigration forms at room 1001 or at www.uscis.gov.

What is the attorney filing service, and how does it work?
The Immigration Legal Assistance Project charges an attorney filing service fee of $50.00 to $100.00 per InfoPass appointment. All fees collected help fund the Los Angeles County Bar Association's legal services projects; Immigration Legal Assistance Project, Domestic Violence Project, and HIV/AIDS Project

How do I contact the Immigration Legal Assistance Project?

Our office does not give legal information over the telephone. You must come in person. We charge $20 for a consultation and nominal fees for other immigration applications. We are a walk-in clinic, so no appointments are necessary. Please bring all immigration forms and documents that you may have.

Our office hours are Monday - Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. and 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m.
We are not open on Saturday, Sunday or any Federal holiday. Our telephone number is (213) 485-1873.

All calls and inquiries are strictly confidential. We help all people who qualify for the project regardless of age, race, gender, sexual orientation, national origin, citizenship, religion, physical handicap, or physical condition.
